Football Mania at Our Lady of Remedies!

The annual Remedy Football Tournament took place on Sunday, the 17th of September 2017. This sports event, organised by the Remedy Youth Group was held at St. Elizabeth School ground. This tournament, which began with great zeal, commenced at 10 am and was inaugurated by Mr. Leslie and Mrs. Sybil Dias. The chief guests motivated the teams and wished them luck. After the blessing from the youth director, Fr. Baptist Dabre, the tournament began, in which about 7 teams participated. There was a great fervour of team-work, enthusiasm and sportsmanship. All the teams competed strongly and gave their best.

The final match was played between G.D. Brothers and the New Youngsters team, which ended in a tie, but G.D. Brothers marked their victory by scoring 3 penalties. The tournament concluded by Fr. Baptist awarding the winning team and the runners-up!
